Fund Strategy

Diameter Credit Company (DCC) seeks to generate attractive returns and current income primarily through senior secured lending to middle-market companies. The strategy invests across both sponsored and non-sponsored borrowers and opportunistically allocates across core and upper middle-market companies on a relative-value basis. DCC leverages Diameter's fully integrated credit platform, combining rigorous fundamental credit analysis with sector-specific expertise and macroeconomic insights. The strategy emphasizes strong structural protections, disciplined risk management, and a focus on capital preservation.

Jonathan Lewinsohn

Co-Founder & Managing Partner

Jonathan Lewinsohn is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Diameter Capital Partners LP, an alternative asset manager focused on the global credit markets. Diameter manages a flagship hedge fund, dislocation funds, CLOs, CDOs, and a private credit platform. As Managing Partner and Portfolio Manager for the Diameter Funds, he focuses on overall risk of the Diameter Funds, underwriting, security selection while also managing the relationships with restructuring advisors. Prior to founding Diameter, Mr. Lewinsohn was a Senior Managing Director at Centerbridge Partners (2013 – 2017) and was previously Head of North American Research at Anchorage Capital Group (2007 – 2013) where he was a permanent member of the firm's Investment Committee across all its funds.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Lewinsohn served as a law clerk to Judge Richard A. Posner of the U.S. Court of Appeals and worked at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Lewinsohn has been published in the Yale Law Journal, the Yale Journal of International Law, and in Antitrust Law Stories (2007 Foundation Press). He received his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2006, where he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences in 2002, where he was Phi Beta Kappa and recognized as a Merrill Presidential Scholar.
